The Melodies of George Elementary |
| Mrs. Jessica Colley leads the students of George Elementary in all music related activities. Students have a 45-minute music class each week. Weekly lessons are based on the Arkansas State Standards for Music Education. In addition to regular classes, students will participate in grade level programs that are performed for the school and at monthly PTA meetings. These programs showcase their musical skills and helps expose students to the art of performing. |

George Elementary is proud of our two select groups- Honor Choir and Jammin' George Giants. Approximately 60 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students are chosen to participate in Honor Choir each year. 12 4th and 5th Grade students are selected to learn percussion and perform at monthly assemblies. Students is these select groups must display advanced musical skill and appreciation, character, and personal responsibility. |
