WEEK OF GOOD NEWS
The week of February
9th, George received some exciting news.
First, the state has
awarded George Elementary a 4-out-of-5 ranking on the
Individual Student Growth Report based on the
Benchmark
scores from last year.
Congratulations to our
teachers and students for all their hard work!
Second, the Arkansas
Game and Fish Commission has given a $3,000 grant to the school
so that improvements can be made to the Living Lab
Classroom on the south side of the building.
Teachers and students use the Living Lab to study
natural habitats
and other environmental
lessons.
